Check out the video below, a wee story run by The Golf Show on Fox Sports last night. We caught the episode yesterday while at the Flinders Hotel - bit of a laugh for us and the chaps we were with at the time.
We really enjoyed meeting up with Luke Elvy in Sydney - good company on the golf course - and he's put together a pretty good story, I reckon (although the inclusion of Obama & Co is pretty tongue in cheek!). That said, if you don't ask you don't get...Ahem, Mr. Obama, if you're reading this - and you probably are - we would like to play golf with you. For sponsorship from the US Government. Please. Thank you.
'Twas a shame there was some misunderstanding on the funding front - we are hoping to raise 20k each through sponsorship to fund the project. Unfortunately his comments that we have saved that much ourselves might make our sponsorship quest a little trickier!!!
But overall the story is great and a pretty good way to kick start our Aussie leg. So thanks Luke & Co at Fox Sports!
