Having just checked my emails - as I tend to do far too regularly - I came upon yet another message from a like minded nutter, who decided to do something out of the ordinary. His name is George, and his next door neighbour Ian (42 years his junior) surfed 100 days straight (off Newcastle, NSW - why wouldn't ya...?) to raise money for a local charity.
Check out Ian's blog. Then, if you're game, consider what you might do every day for...a month...a year...the rest of your time on God's Good Earth. Let the mind drift. Indulge your creative side.
Since we embarked on this adventure Mick and I have come across a raft of humans who can relate to what we're doing - many of whom have done (or at least planned) their own puregolf2010.
Take John, the top 100 blogger we met in Melbourne; or Dylan, the 18 year old blogger playing golf in every state 'round the US before he goes to college. On journeys like thers (and ours) you meet a bunch of new friends, have experiences that'll stay with you for life, and...well, live a stimulating existence.
peace, JP
